Scania’s establishment in Tanzania goes back to 1970 when the company delivered the first 200 tipper-trucks for the construction of the Tazara railways.

Since then approximately 5000 Scania vehicles have been delivered to Tanzania. The past 30 years have brought the company a lot of experience in production, marketing, maintenance & repair as well as understanding the transporting operations and road conditions.
